About The Role
Want to step into a key planning role where your SAP skills will drive the success of remote rail infrastructure? We’re recruiting on behalf of a tier-one mining operator to find a capable and reliable Infrastructure Track Planner.
This is a FIFO role from Perth on a 4:3 roster to start, moving into an 8:6 after your first month. You’ll be responsible for short-term (2–4 week) planning and the full cycle of SAP work order, notification, and task list management for track maintenance operations.

- Create and manage short-term maintenance schedules (2–4 week window)
- Use SAP to manage work orders, notifications, and task lists
- Review and optimise SAP maintenance plans for rail and track assets
- Coordinate closely with operations, engineering, and contractors
- Forecast labour and materials needed for upcoming maintenance work
- Monitor task execution, re-aligning where needed to meet targets
- Drive data integrity in SAP and ensure plans match operational needs
- Experienced maintenance planner, ideally with infrastructure or rail exposure
- Strong SAP PM skills, including notifications, work orders, and task list creation
- Confident developing short-term plans and maintenance schedules
- Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
- Able to liaise effectively with field teams, supervisors, and engineering
- Must have the right to work in Australia
