North Western Breast Screen – Breast Imaging Fellow
This is a 12 month or is 2 x 6-month Fixed Term Part Time positions at 60.2 hours per fortnight commencing 2nd February and 4th August 2026.

The Royal Melbourne is one of Victoria’s largest hospitals providing a comprehensive range of health services including acute, sub-acute, general, and specialist medical services throughout inpatient and community-based facilities. We are also a proud part of the world-renowned Melbourne Biomedical Precinct, working in collaboration to advance research for continuous improvement of clinical care.
Unit Description
North Western Breastscreen is part of Melbourne Health with direct links to the Royal Melbourne Hospital and the Royal Women's Hospital breast service.
The service screens approximately 50,000 women per year and provides three assessment clinics per week. This is a unique opportunity to join a strong multidisciplinary team and learn from expert breast radiologists. Tomosynthesis core biopsies and Ultrasound core biopsies are performed on site.
The Royal Melbourne Hospital is part of Melbourne Health providing specialist and general acute health services. Primarily serving the northwestern communities of Melbourne, RMH also provides state-wide and specialist services to rural and regional Victorians.

A About You:
- Registration with the Medical Board of Australia (AHPRA) or eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia (for international Medical Graduates)
- MBBS or equivalent tertiary qualifications
- Ability to work in a team
- Well-developed communication and presentation skills.
