Foreman - Sydney Projects

Lead Exciting Projects Across Sydney in Rail, Roads, and Water Infrastructure!

Star Group is a privately owned Electrical Contracting Group specialising in electrical, data and communications, lighting and audio-visual products and services.

We’re looking for an experienced Foreman to manage daily operations on Star Group project sites. You’ll lead teams, ensure safety compliance, and drive projects to completion on time and within budget. Your leadership and problem-solving skills will be key to success in this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily tasks and ensure work aligns with project schedules.
• Communicate and monitor the progress of work, ensuring alignment with the project’s plans.
• Conduct pre-start safety inspections, toolboxes, and ensure adherence to safety management plans.
• Oversee plant and equipment checks and ensure maintenance of quality standards.
• Enforce safety standards, conduct inspections, and manage risk assessments.
• Lead teams, foster positive teamwork, and ensure high-quality performance.
• Manage materials, equipment, and administrative duties for the project site.
  
  

Qualifications

• Hold a valid Electrical License or relevant electrical trade qualification.
• Proven experience leading teams and managing construction sites.
• Strong communicator with problem-solving abilities.
• Committed to safety, quality, and team collaboration.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve issues quickly and efficiently.
