As we expand our footprint in the mining and cement sectors, we are looking for a strategic and experienced Business Development Manager – Global Project & Accounts to join our team in Perth. This role will be key to leading global collaboration, engaging top-tier customers, and driving long-term success through project and account development.

Your Role

You will be responsible for planning and executing sales targets and activities across assigned products, services, and projects for strategic accounts in the mining and cement industries. You will support and manage target projects and accounts, while identifying and developing new global business opportunities from feasibility through to award.

Key Responsibilities Include

  • Developing and managing a pipeline of mining and cement project opportunities from early feasibility stages through to execution
  • Leading multi-functional project acquisition teams—often across countries and business units
  • Supporting and managing assigned strategic accounts and target projects
  • Collaborating with the global Innomotics salesforce to develop cross-border opportunities
  • Planning sales volumes and account potential to align with commercial targets
  • Using CRM tools to track opportunities and inform forecasting and planning
  • Building and maintaining a strong customer-focused network to develop market and customer insight
  • Analysing market trends, customer investments, and capital flows to uncover new opportunities
  • Preparing and negotiating proposals and project bids in collaboration with internal stakeholders
  • Contributing to product development, service programs, and tailored project offerings
  • Acting as a commercial point of contact where required
  • Completing relevant sales and revenue reporting

About You

  • Several years of experience in sales, business development, or account management, ideally in a global or strategic project environment
  • Strong background in the mining industry with exposure to large-scale projects and tier-1 companies
  • Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Business, Commerce, or a related discipline
  • Self-starter with excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to working across global and diverse teams
  • Strategic thinker with a strong focus on long-term customer success rather than short-term wins
  • Comfortable with both domestic and international travel as required
