- Based in our new office on Hay Street, West Perth
- Flexible working arrangements including the opportunity to work from home
Your primary focus is to manage the end-to-end payroll administration processes and contribute to the effective operation of the payroll function. You will also play a hands-on role in the rollout of our new Payroll and HR system! Duties will include:
- Manage the end-to-end preparation and processing of our fortnightly payroll to deliver accurate and timely payment to employees
- Respond to payroll queries, providing clear, accurate, and timely advice
- Coordinate the administration of workers' compensation claims and prepare reimbursement requests to insurers
- Monitor and apply payroll compliance requirements, including company policies, legislative obligations, awards, and enterprise agreements
You are process-driven with a strong customer focus, and you take pride in managing payroll activities with accuracy and professionalism. You also bring:
- Previous experience managing end-to-end payroll processing tasks in a similarly sized organisation (1500-2500 employees)
- Intermediate skills in the MS Office suite and experience using computerised payroll and timekeeping systems
- Strong attention to detail and solid mathematical skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to take initiative and improve processes
- Clear, concise communication skills and proven ability to manage confidential data with care
