Canteen Cook - full time position available at St Mary's Catholic Primary School, Darwin

St Mary’s Primary School is situated in the heart of Darwin City and has an approximate enrolment of 200 students. We are a Catholic community of life-long learners empowered by Gospel values to shape and enrich our world. Our school community endeavours to nurture and educate each individual intellectually, physically, emotionally and spiritually.

Required

We are seeking a Canteen Cook to work in the provision of efficient and effective day to day food service for our Primary School, Early Learning Centre and OSHC programs. You will be required to:

• Maintain a clean, hygienic workspace in line with WHS requirements
• Able to work independently & as part of a team
• Work with staff, parents and children to develop and modify menus
• Work to a budget
• Be competent in food preparation & adapt to changes in recipes, menu & methods of food preparation
• Be an effective communicator & team focused
• Be able to liaise with all levels of the St Mary's community, students, staff & volunteers
