Canteen Cook - full time position available at St Mary's Catholic Primary School, Darwin
St Mary’s Primary School is situated in the heart of Darwin City and has an approximate enrolment of 200 students. Required
We are seeking a Canteen Cook to work in the provision of efficient and effective day to day food service for our Primary School, Early Learning Centre and OSHC programs. You will be required to:
- Maintain a clean, hygienic workspace in line with WHS requirements
- Able to work independently & as part of a team
- Work with staff, parents and children to develop and modify menus
- Work to a budget
- Be competent in food preparation & adapt to changes in recipes, menu & methods of food preparation
- Be an effective communicator & team focused
- Be able to liaise with all levels of the St Mary's community, students, staff & volunteers

- have a commitment to and understanding of the ethos and traditions of Catholic Education;
- hold a Paid Employee Positive Notice OCHRE Card prior to commencement; and
- be eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment.
