Our People & Culture Team is currently seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Recruitment & Onboarding Administrator to join our growing Talent Acquisition team and broader People & Culture function based at our Head Office in Preston.



About the role: Recruitment Administrator, P&C

Reporting into the Administration Team Lead, this position plays a crucial role in providing essential administrative support to a variety of stakeholders across a range of tasks relating to the employee hiring and onboarding process. You will be a key point of contact within the People & Culture (P&C) team, as well as our hiring managers, employees, and prospective employees, providing them with an exceptional level of customer service.



Key Responsibilities

  • Process new employees throughout the entire candidate lifecycle, from job advertisements through to offer and contract creation through our end-to-end ATS & HRIS system.
  • Collate all required candidate documentation for onboarding and follow up as required ensuring all activities are completed in a timely manner for successful onboarding.
  • Provide guidance and advice to managers on using our internal ATS & HRIS system.
  • Reply to queries via the triage inbox as well as answering phone queries in a timely manner.
  • Support the Talent Acquisition function with advertising, talent pooling and sourcing candidates for our national store portfolio.
  • Ensuring new starters are successfully onboarded through thorough compliance checks and data integration with our payroll system, KRONOS.



About you

  • Tertiary qualification or relevant working experience in Recruitment, Talent Acquisition, Human Resources, Business Management or equivalent is ideal
  • Good working knowledge of the Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Teams, Outlook)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong IT and computer literacy
  • Highly organised with an ability to prioritise and multitask
  • Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, changing environment
