Project Overview:

The Eva Copper Mine Project is a greenfield copper project located in North West Queensland, Australia. Harmony Gold acquired the Project from Copper Mountain Mining Corporation Pty Ltd on 16 December 2022. The Project is 100% owned by ECM through a wholly owned subsidiary Eva Copper Mine Pty Ltd (ECM).

Since acquiring the Project, ECM has progressed a new Feasibility Study (FS) aligned with the ECM capital investment framework. Post Feasibility Study completion and subject to receiving necessary approvals, the Project will complete a Front-End Engineering Design (FEED) package as part of the Execute phase to further mature the capital cost estimate, schedule and execution planning in preparation for a Final Investment Decision (FID).

The Eva Copper Mine Project (the Project or EVAMP) is a large scale, complex, greenfield project. Poised to be a beachhead project in a Tier 1 mining jurisdiction, the Project is a key enabler of ECM Group strategy.

Once operational, the Project will consist of multiple open cut pits, a copper concentrator, terrestrial tailings storage facility (centerline build), site accommodation village and all necessary supporting services and infrastructure.
