About the Role:
ICC Sydney is looking for professional, detail-oriented, and operationally sound individual who has the ability to operate under pressure, whilst making critical decisions to join the Event Security team as the Security Team Leader, Events on a Full time basis.
As a pivotal player in the ICC Sydney Security team, you will be responsible for leading a team and holding our team of Events Security Officers accountable to the highest levels of service and safety. You will provide advice and direction during daily operations and as part of a response, acting as a chief warden when required. Whilst managing multiple moving parts and a vast array of stakeholders, you will also handle interactions in a composed and diplomatic way, with respect, providing advice and solutions to suit the situation while maintaining vigilance over ICC Sydney assets.
You will lead Security operations for an event in line with the security operations manual, policies and procedures. You will also work to ensure all events are planned with Security Officers and Control Room Operators to provide effective security and customer service to all persons entering ICC Sydney.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 2-4 years’ experience in event security will be desirable.
- NSW Security License 1A
- First Aid Certificate and Advanced CPR
- Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate
