About the opportunity
Due to continued growth, our client has created a new Field Service Engineer position based in Townsville. This role will see you travelling across North Queensland to install, maintain, and repair medical devices within pharmacies and hospitals. You’ll play a key role in supporting healthcare customers through hands-on service, remote troubleshooting, and technical guidance.

Duties
- Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on medical devices
- Troubleshoot software and hardware issues on-site and remotely
- Support new installations across hospital and pharmacy settings
- Provide training, guidance, and ongoing technical support to users
- Maintain service documentation and safety compliance standards
- Represent the business with professionalism and customer focus
- Experience in field service within the healthcare industry is highly advantageous
- Biomedical, Electrical or Mechanical engineering background is essential
- Strong troubleshooting and technical repair ability
- Full, clean driver’s licence
- Excellent communication and customer service
- QLD restricted electrical licence
