CSL (top 5 listed ASX organisation and a global biotechnology company) is continuing to invest and grow. The EHS, Director position is now available at Australia's largest pharmaceutical manufacturing site and a major hazard facility.
Reporting to the Senior Director EHS APAC, you will engage and lead a team of EHS professionals and be an active member of the site leadership team. You will support a complex manufacturing environment which is undergoing growth through several construction projects and volume expansion programs which will expand our manufacturing capacity and capability.

Reporting to the Senior Director EHS APAC, you will engage and lead a team of EHS professionals and be an active member of the site leadership team. You will support a complex manufacturing environment which is undergoing growth through several construction projects and volume expansion programs which will expand our manufacturing capacity and capability.
Your Role
- Lead a team of EHS Specialists and work towards being a team of true partners to functional areas
- Joint responsibility with Site Leadership for delivering EHS performance improvement
- Provide EHSS leadership, knowledge and support in the diligent discharge of CSL's Work Health & Safety responsibilities
- Understand EHS risk for the site and ability to translate EHS and risk conversations in plain English
- Mitigate risks in all its manifestations across a manufacturing and construction environment
- Be a contributing member of the APAC EHS Leadership team and support global EHS goals
- Experience in a EHS leadership role with experience in coaching, motivating and supporting EHS professionals to influence the business in meeting required regulatory and company-based goals
- A seasoned EHS professional with experience in a manufacturing or construction environment including with regulatory audits and inspections
- Familiarity with the Regulator (Comcare) and Commonwealth WHS legislation and regulation is desirable
- Degree qualification in Occupational Health & Safety, Science, Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Chemical Engineering or equivalent
