We are seeking expressions of interest for current and future opportunities based in Karratha on a full time permanent basis.

As WAs regional electricity provider, we have opportunities for qualified electricians to be trained and designated as Electrical Inspectors with positions currently available in Karratha. You will learn from some of the best in industry, work in some of WAs best regional communities and undertake electrical inspections, shock, fire and breach investigations to ensure a high standard of consumer safety.

Your Role Will Include

• Conducting electrical inspections in line with Horizon Powers' endorsed Inspection System Plan and methods.
• Executing incident and breach investigations relating to serious electrical incidents and non-compliance of the Electricity (Licensing) Regulations 1991 WA (including shocks and fires).
• Providing specialist advice to electrical contractors on consumer installation compliance.
• Regular travel across Regional WA.
  
  

To Be Considered You Will Have

• Eligibility to be designated as an Inspector (Electrical).
• Current Australian Electrical Workers Licence (EW).
• Ability to provide a police clearance.
• Substantial experience in Domestic, Commercial & Industrial industries.
• Extensive knowledge of relevant electrical Acts and Regulations.
• Significant knowledge of Australian Standards relating to electrical safety compliance.
