Responsibilities
- Manage the Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Assistant Accountant functions
- Evaluate, analyse and report on variances to budget as and when they occur
- Liaise with the Department Manager in providing feedback on financial systems and performance
- Ensure accurate management accounting is finalised to meet internal deadlines
- Evaluation and analysis of financial statements - including cash flow, P&L, and Balance Sheet
- Manage the accounts payable function and approve all payments for management authorisation
- Liaise with and manage audits
- Prepare Tax Calculations and Returns, FBT, GST and Payroll Tax
- Maintain financial compliance records
- Administer Insurance and Workers Compensation returns
- Maintain banking user access, FX transactions & operations, FX practice management
- Maintain credit card transaction approvals and account for monthly activity
- Prepare the month end P&Ls for corporate cost centres and balance sheet reconciliations.
- 3-5 years in similar role
- CA or CPA Qualified
- AX Dynamics experience would be desirable
- Strong Financial Mangement with strong leadership skills
- Flexible approach to work and ability to work under pressure
- Ability to motivate oneself with exceptional time management
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
