Financial Accountant

Our people are the heart and soul of our business. Due to continuous growth, we are looking for an experienced Financial Accountant to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Assistant Accountant functions
• Evaluate, analyse and report on variances to budget as and when they occur
• Liaise with the Department Manager in providing feedback on financial systems and performance
• Ensure accurate management accounting is finalised to meet internal deadlines
• Evaluation and analysis of financial statements - including cash flow, P&L, and Balance Sheet
• Manage the accounts payable function and approve all payments for management authorisation
• Liaise with and manage audits
• Prepare Tax Calculations and Returns, FBT, GST and Payroll Tax
• Maintain financial compliance records
• Administer Insurance and Workers Compensation returns
• Maintain banking user access, FX transactions & operations, FX practice management
• Maintain credit card transaction approvals and account for monthly activity
• Prepare the month end P&Ls for corporate cost centres and balance sheet reconciliations.
  
  

What You’ll Bring To The Role

• 3-5 years in similar role
• CA or CPA Qualified
• AX Dynamics experience would be desirable
• Strong Financial Mangement with strong leadership skills
• Flexible approach to work and ability to work under pressure
• Ability to motivate oneself with exceptional time management
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
