Assistant Manager – Performance, Governance, Audit and Risk - Executive Level 1
What you will do:
As the Assistant Manager you will work closely with the Section Manager and officials across the ACMA, to contribute to sustaining the ACMA's compliance with the PGPA Act and other administrative legislation.
In this role you will:
- support the team's delivery of the ACMA's Audit function through overseeing the effective day-to-day management of the internal audit and audit and risk secretariat functions including contract management and supporting outputs/deliverables.
- support the team's delivery of the ACMA's parliamentary function, including the Senate Estimates processes, parliamentary inquiry processes, ministerial correspondence and departmental liaison
- lead the weekly development of the ACMA's Chair's Weekly Meeting Brief for the Chair's Weekly Meeting.
- supporting the timely coordination of corporate and other processes for the division.
- work flexibly and undertake other duties as directed to support the deliverables of the section.

About the team:
The Performance, Governance, Audit and Risk section is responsible for ensuring the ACMA's ongoing compliance with its governance requirements under the PGPA Act and other legislation. The section is responsible for the delivery of functions that support the Chair as the Accountable Authority and the senior executive leadership to discharge their responsibilities. The Performance, Governance, Audit and Risk section sits within the Research, Data and Governance Branch.
The Research, Data and Governance Branch is responsible for delivering high quality quantitative and qualitative research services on market, consumer, technological and emerging issues across the Agency to inform regulatory development, decision making and review. The Branch is also responsible for the Agency's data strategy and governance framework and coordination and management of the Agency's international engagement activities.
