An established, independently owned national organisation is seeking a proactive and commercially minded FP&A Analyst to join their collaborative finance team. Operating in the wholesale industry, the business services both on and off-highway market segments across Australia and New Zealand. With a portfolio of globally recognised brands, they focus on delivering premium products and tailored solutions to a wide network of independent dealers and retailers.

The Role

Reporting to the FP&A Manager, this role will support Sales & Marketing activities through data analytics, reporting and insights that drive business results. It’s an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented and commercially aware analyst to partner with operational and sales teams in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Report on sales performance across weekly, monthly, and quarterly intervals
  • Analyse marketing campaigns, providing insights and performance recommendations
  • Maintain and enhance actionable sales dashboards
  • Coordinate customer feedback programs and trend analysis
  • Conduct sales and margin trend analysis to support promotional activities
  • Perform pricing analysis, assessing market competitiveness and business returns
  • Manage customer loyalty and rebate programs
  • Assist in market share analysis through product performance data
  • Maintain and administer customer pricing and independent dealer programs
  • Support CRM reporting and ad hoc analytical requests

The Candidate

The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical capability and commercial acumen, along with excellent communication and problem-solving skills. A flexible, customer-focused team player with high attention to detail will thrive in this role.

Key Attributes Include

  • 3+ years' experience in a management accounting or Analyst role, ideally within retail, FMCG or product-based industry.
  • A tertiary qualification in accounting, with CA/CPA status (or working towards).
  • Advanced Excel skills and financial modelling capability.
  • Prior experience with pricing analysis is beneficial
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to partner effectively with non-finance stakeholders.
  • A proactive mindset, strong attention to detail, and the confidence to challenge and influence.
