• Champion a proactive approach to operational risk and resilience by fostering a risk-aware culture across the business, aligned with changing regulatory expectations.
• Oversee day-to-day operational risk processes, including capturing and resolving risk incidents, tracking key risk metrics, facilitating risk and control assessments, and reviewing third-party and outsourcing risks.
• Collaborate closely with business units to support the design and implementation of effective risk controls.
• Build and maintain a framework for control assurance testing to evaluate the effectiveness of risk management practices.
• Track and support the delivery of remediation initiatives stemming from risk events, control reviews, audits, or regulatory feedback.
• Provide assistance with internal investigations, reviews, and the drafting of formal reports as required.
• Support broader risk and compliance initiatives as needed, and complete all assigned training to ensure adherence to company standards and external regulatory obligations.

• Strong understanding of operational risk principles, particularly within financial services. Prior experience in an APRA-regulated environment is highly regarded but not essential.
