Launch Recruitment is working with a major government organisation to find an experienced IT Services Procurement Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to support strategic digital and technology initiatives, managing complex vendor arrangements and sourcing processes.
What’s On Offer
- Initial 6-month contract with a strong likelihood of extension
- EL1 equivalent role with competitive daily rates
- Hybrid work model – 2 days in office (ACT or NSW), 3 days from home
- Work within a respected, high impact federal department
- Manage end-to-end IT sourcing activities, including labour hire and vendor arrangements
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and determine sourcing needs
- Support contract negotiations to ensure value for money outcomes
- Maintain systems for tracking and reporting sourcing processes
- Monitor vendor performance and resolve any issues or grievances
- Conduct risk assessments on sourcing agreements and suggest improvements
- Forecast future sourcing needs in coordination with internal teams
- Proven experience in IT sourcing, procurement and vendor management
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Analytical and problem-solving mindset
- Government experience highly regarded
- Must have Baseline or NV1 security clearance
