Description
Working within a team of dedicated pharmacists, a Grade 3 pharmacist is responsible for a specialty area based on previous experience. ERH Pharmacy team would like to expand roles in the areas of Pharmacy Informatics, Medicines Information/Safety or Pharmacy Education.
This role will also work across clinical areas, including Emergency Medicine, General Medicine, Surgical Ward, Rehabilitation and Outreach Pharmacy Services - with scope to work in Oncology/Haematology if desired.

Key Responsibilities Include
- Work as a lead member of a pharmacy and/or multidisciplinary team to provide optimal clinical pharmacy services across the organisation
- Lead a specialty area within the pharmacy team, participate in organisational wide meetings related to specialty.
- Actively participate in ongoing education and training
- Lead quality improvement activities and projects, report KPIs as required
- Assist in the organisation and direction of pharmacy work flow on a daily basis to ensure prioritised, optimal and safe service delivery in a timely manner
- Maintain core clinical competence specific to the area of clinical practice
- Participate in a weekend and on call roster
- Minimum Bachelor of Pharmacy
- Post graduate qualifications (Masters degree or equivalent)
- Registered as a pharmacist with AHPRA
- Proven experience as a hospital pharmacist
- PPMC credentialed
