About the Role

We are seeking an Accounts Officer for a 6-month fixed term contract to join our Finance team in Perth. Reporting to the Joint Heads of Finance, this role is ideal for someone who thrives in a busy environment and enjoys working collaboratively across teams. In this role, you will support key accounting functions with a strong focus on corporate credit card and accounts payable processes. Your role will ensure accurate financial administration, support internal stakeholders, and contribute to the smooth operation of the Finance function.

Key responsibilities include:

• Administer corporate credit cards: process applications, cancellations, and reissues.
• Process and reconcile monthly corporate card statements.
• Raise tax invoices for client reimbursements and manage associated journal entries.
• Monitor and document overseas and extended travel for tax compliance.
• Enter supplier invoices into Microsoft Business Central, ensuring correct coding.
• Assist in preparing EFT batches and obtaining payment approvals.
• Provide general administration support across the Finance team, including filing and overflow phone support.

About you

You bring a solid foundation in finance or accounts, with a high level of accuracy and organisational skills. You’re reliable, adaptable, and have a naturally helpful attitude when working with internal teams and stakeholders.

To be successful in this role, you will also have:

• 1–2 years’ experience in an accounts role, preferably with reconciliation experience.
• Prior experience with Microsoft Business Central (essential).
• Intermediate Excel and Word skills, and a willingness to learn new systems.
• Knowledge of GST and basic Australian taxation principles.
• A team-oriented mindset and ability to manage competing deadlines.
