The Role


Reporting to our GM of Platforms, who oversees both internal and external systems (including our SaaS offerings), the Head of Corporate IT will lead our internal IT function through a strategic transformation while delivering exceptional service to our global team. This key leadership role combines strategic vision with technical execution, as you'll develop and implement our internal business systems roadmap while leading a team of helpdesk support specialists and cloud/infrastructure engineers.

As a member of our technology leadership team, you'll collaborate closely with the GM of Platforms and CTO to ensure alignment between our internal technology capabilities and broader business objectives. This role demands a strategic thinker who can also roll up their sleeves to mentor and elevate the technical capabilities of their team, fostering a culture of service excellence and continuous improvement.


Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership and Business Alignment
  • Develop, communicate, and execute a comprehensive internal business systems roadmap that anticipates future needs and aligns technology investments with organizational goals
  • Partner with executive stakeholders to understand business priorities and translate them into technology initiatives that drive operational efficiency and competitive advantage
  • Lead strategic IT planning processes, ensuring technology resources are optimally allocated to support business growth and innovation
  • Serve as a trusted technology advisor to the business, proactively identifying opportunities to leverage technology for business improvement
Service Excellence Transformation
  • Champion and build a customer-first culture within the IT team, establishing service standards, metrics, and continuous feedback mechanisms
  • Implement modern service management frameworks and tools that enhance the employee experience and maximize productivity
  • Develop and execute strategies to transform IT from a support function to a strategic business enabler and trusted partner
  • Create and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization, ensuring IT services are meeting their evolving needs
Technical Leadership and Execution
  • Architect and deliver scalable, secure, and user-centric enterprise infrastructure (cloud, networks, servers) that enables business agility
  • Drive operational excellence through implementation of best practices, automation, and continuous improvement of IT operations
  • Lead the evaluation, selection, and implementation of critical business systems and tools that enhance organizational capabilities
  • Ensure robust security, compliance, and governance frameworks are embedded in all technology solutions
Team Development and Capability Building
  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing IT team, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and professional growth
  • Mentor technical staff to enhance their capabilities, providing hands-on guidance where needed to elevate overall team performance
  • Create career development paths and growth opportunities for team members, building a sustainable talent pipeline
  • Implement modern ways of working, including agile methodologies, to improve team velocity and delivery quality
AI and Data Innovation
  • Partner with our AI enablement program and internal business units to enable high-value use cases for AI adoption within internal operations
  • Provide thought leadership in implementing and deploying data pipelines and AI/ML initiatives that enhance internal productivity
  • Develop strategies to leverage data as a strategic asset, ensuring information is accessible, accurate, and actionable
  • Build capabilities that position Nuix at the forefront of AI-enabled operations and decision-making
Project Delivery and Change Management
  • Lead the delivery of complex methodologies in a fast-paced environment
  • Ensure effective change management practices that maximize user adoption and minimize business disruption
  • Balance competing priorities and resources to deliver maximum business value within constraints


Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • 10+ years of progressive IT leadership experience, including significant hands-on technical background and demonstrated trajectory of increasing responsibility
  • Experience in high-growth, Agile, or software/SaaS-driven environments is highly desirable
  • Ability to transform IT teams from reactive support functions to strategic business partners
  • Strategic thinking capabilities with demonstrated experience developing and implementing technology roadmaps
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills with the ability to build relationships, influence decisions, and communicate effectively at all levels
  • Deep technical expertise in cloud services (AWS, Azure), enterprise infrastructure, and modern security frameworks
  • Experience leading service transformation initiatives with measurable improvements in user satisfaction
  • Track record of successfully mentoring and developing technical teams, with both management and hands-on coaching abilities
  • Strong understanding of modern IT service management frameworks and best practices
  • Experience with enterprise tools such as O365, Cisco, Palo Alto, and relevant cloud/security platforms
  • Background in implementing data and AI initiatives to enhance internal operations is desirable
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, ITIL, PMP, or cloud architecture credentials are highly valued
