Your New Role

In the role of Head of Service Delivery, you will know the competitive environment in which we operate, understand the needs of employers, advisers and members and develop insights from their interactions with the Fund that ensure we deliver on our trusted reputation while also achieving member growth and retention.

Reporting to the Chief Member Officer, the Head of Service Delivery will design and lead a competitive service offering to Workplaces, Partnership stakeholders and deliver Member Resolutions.

Key duties include but are not limited to:

  • Responsible for the evolution of the Fund's workplace partnership services, education and distribution channels that are competitive, scalable and cost effective.
  • Oversee performance at a portfolio level, to inform prioritisation, achieve maximum growth, and ensure sustainability in terms of application of capital and operational expenditure.
  • Motivate and inspire the team and suppliers by demonstrating commitment to the Fund's values, decision pillars and leadership principles.
  • Hire and develop a high performing, diverse and engaged team who will support the successful delivery of the Fund's strategic ambitions, and are innovative, resilient and equipped to deal with ambiguity.
  • Develop and nurture key external relationships with employers, unions, industry bodies to actively promote and where required manage the fund's service and education expectations, and to represent the needs of our members.
  • Drive evidence-based decision making - including appropriate and simple metrics that provide solid data for informed decision making, such as business strategy alignment, cost/benefit, and cost/quality/risk.
  • Ensure relevant legislative and organisational requirements are met; keep up to date on all key changes to relevant regulations.

What you'll need

  • Extensive experience in service delivery and service improvement preferably in a superannuation environment
  • Experience leading multifunctional teams in a workplace or operations is highly regarded.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills.
