ABOUT THE ROLE

While previous fundraising experience is not essential, sound administration, excellent customer service and communication skills are vital. This role would be suited to someone who enjoys finding solutions and is willing to use their initiative to identify opportunities for fundraising and completing tasks.

The role includes management of donor databases, administration of grant applications including acquittals and managing digital fundraising platforms. You will be able to work with staff and volunteers across the organisation as well as the St John NT Board and external stakeholders.

This is a 12-month maternity leave placement. Applicants will be reviewed as they are received. 

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to take direction and develop a project or solution to meet organisational objectives.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office suite.
• Ability to use, or willingness to learn, digital applications such as Canva, Mail Chimp, Survey Monkey and social media platforms.
• Willingness to evaluate, select and act on various methods and strategies for solving problems and meeting objectives before being asked or required to do so.
