About the Role
The Corporate Services Officer supports the operations of the Music Resource Centre, especially with management of the Music Resource Centre library, and support for the camps, workshops, festivals and programs provided by the MRC for students across Metropolitan South Region.
Manage the Regional Music Library
Read, transcribe, transpose edit music
Familiarity with ensemble repertoire and score order
Familiarity with music editing software
Prepare music ensemble parts for camps/workshops/festivals
Manage borrowing, loans, acquisitions for Regional Music library
Correctly file orchestra repertoire
Manage copyright returns to AMCOS/APRA
Support the implementation of Regional Music events and projects
Support the HOD Enrichment Programs to provide camps, workshops and festivals for students in Metro South Region.
Provide support in financial management, budgeting, ordering for events
Assist the HOD with timetabling, rostering, student allocations
Assist the HOD with staffing for events
Ensure repertoire is selected, acquired, copied, and ready for students attending events
Understanding of schools processes
Support the efficient operations of the MRC
Budget processing
Specialist Program enrolments, attendance
Resource management - instrument loans, maintenance and repairs
Musical background would be advantageous, including ability to read, edit and transcribe music.
