About the Role:

As a Graduate Project Engineer, you will support the RES Construction Management team across wind, solar, and storage projects, primarily within the NEM. This role involves both office and site-based work, assisting with construction work packages, design reviews, and contractor performance monitoring. Under the guidance of senior managers, you'll help ensure projects meet safety, quality, cost, time, and environmental standards. Reporting to the Construction Services and Engineering Managers, you'll work closely with the broader team, promoting safety and sustainability while developing your technical and project management skills.

Key Safety Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Monitor projects and ensure all project activities comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Provide support and administrative assistance for construction work packages and design reviews.
  • Perform all tasks with a strong focus on safety, avoiding any risky behaviors.
  • Carry out assessments as directed by the Construction Project Manager and Lead Project Engineer.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and site investigations.
  • Provide support on supervising construction activities and ensure compliance with design specifications.
  • Maintain clear and well-presented engineering documentation

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Ability to work independently with initiative
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel & Word
  • Functional in AutoCAD & Microsoft Project or Primavera desirable
  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
  • Engineering and/or construction experience desirable
  • Energy industry experiences desirable
