As a Claims Disputes Specialist, your main responsibility will be to investigate and resolve complaints between customers and the business. You will be responsible for obtaining a comprehensive understanding of complaints and record issues and outcomes sought. Experience within financial services disputes resolution or experience in insurance claims is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities
Working hours: Mon-Fri 8.30am-5pm
WFH: This role is a hybrid position, working 3 days a week in the city.

Key Responsibilities
- Investigate and resolve customer disputes in accordance with established procedures, guidelines and principles.
- Mitigate risk and follow all compliance measures in order to effectively resolve issues, escalating where necessary.
- Communicate outcomes and updates in a timely manner to internal stakeholders and customers.
- Maintain a high degree of professionalism at all times.
- Experience within a disputes or complaints resolution role within financial services or experience in an insurance claims role is highly desirable.
- Able to apply a skeptical mindset in approaching different matters and challenge accepted practice.
- The flexibility to approach scenarios from different points of view.
- Strong ability to analyse and interpret complex information.
- A general understanding of the law and legislation around insurance would be beneficial.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
