Are you ready to lead with purpose? Legal Aid Queensland is looking for an experienced Manager of Facilities and Procurement to join our dynamic team within the Corporate Services Division.

About The Role

As the Manager, Facilities and Procurement, you will oversee critical operational activities, ensuring our facilities and procurement functions are efficient, compliant, and impactful. Based in Brisbane, you will lead a team of six, playing a key role in delivering projects, managing property leasing, overseeing procurement processes, and implementing the Workplace Strategy.

  • Lead minor accommodation and maintenance projects to completion.
  • Actively contribute to audit processes and the implementation of recommendations.
  • Spearhead process and system improvements, updating policies and guidelines collaboratively with your team.

About You

The successful candidate will have:

  • Experience and expertise in facilities management functions such as leasing, property management, safety regulations, and refurbishment projects.
  • Strong leadership skills to manage and develop your team to achieve quality outcomes.
  • A commitment to maintaining high practice standards through governance and risk management.
  • Excellent communication skills to engage stakeholders, deliver technical presentations, and advise senior management.
