About The Role

The Payroll Officer will play a key role in the team, providing a high level support to our business whilst ensuring the processing of employee payments in a timely manner. To be successful in this role you will have extensive experience in the delivery of large and multiple payrolls along with thorough understanding and knowledge of awards and EBA’s.

Key Responsibilities Include

  • End to end processing of Sunnyfield payroll
  • Maintenance of payroll and time and attendance systems
  • Updating and maintaining payroll records
  • Calculation and processing of termination and workers compensation payments
  • Payroll reporting to meet internal and statutory obligations
  • Reconciliation and payment of superannuation contributions
  • Liaising with staff and management on payroll related queries
  • Interpreting awards/agreements and contracts in relation to overtime and shift allowance payment

About You

  • You have the demonstrated ability to engage, communicate and build partnerships with a diverse range of people
  • You have exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
  • You have previous Payroll experience, combined with experience interpreting awards and agreements
