ABOUT THE ROLE


This is an exciting multi-faceted opportunity for a high performing leader to join our successful Victorian and Tasmanian Earthmoving and Mobile Plant business.

Our sales growth forecasts require a consistent and sustained customer focus, while identifying efficiency gains in many areas of our parts supply and distribution process.


Based in our Clayton Head Office, you will report directly to our General Manager – Product Support and have overall responsibility for leading a team of 7 experienced and dedicated individuals, across our Inventory and Logistics team.


Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Operational oversight of parts inventory control
  • Transportation management for parts and warehousing across the Dealership
  • Network optimisation to deliver operational costs efficiency gains to our business
  • Develop and enhance systems, processes, and practices to optimise and support Sales to Users (STU) opportunities
  • Operational management of the Used Parts business ensuring inventory levels are effectively managed
  • Set and monitor KPI’s and targets for branches
  • Manage all aspects of the Parts Exchange program including inventory levels and repair options

You pride yourself on being an excellent collaborator and you bring with you experience in inventory and logistics, transportation and network optimisation and management.


To be considered for this role, you will have:

  • Extensive experience in a similar role and industry with demonstrated leadership skills
  • Sound conflict resolution, problem solving and interpersonal skills
  • Strong project and budget management skills
  • Ability to develop long term internal and external customer relationships
  • Proven Data Analysis skills
  • Dedicated commitment to safety and quality work practices
  • Formal qualifications reflective of the role would be considered favourably
