Product Manager – Platform Plus

Our Purpose

Campus Plus’s purpose is to facilitate research commercialisation (in its broadest sense of getting research out of the lab and into the real world) for the betterment of society. The issues faced by society now, and in the foreseeable future (climate change, renewable energy, waste management, sustainable population growth, pandemics, etc.) will be solved through new technologies, innovations and methodologies that are underpinned by research.

As a ‘leading commercialiser’ of research, Campus Plus’s purpose is three-fold:

• To increase the ‘commercial readiness’ of researchers through quality professional development content, delivered through various modalities.
• To support cultural change at the individual researcher, Institutional and Government levels on the need for, benefit from, and value of research commercialisation to career development, institution income and impact, policy agenda and the wider society. We support cultural change through education, expertise, advocacy and the collection and analysis of large, longitudinal data sets.
• To support promising research-based innovations translating out of Institutions through access to early-stage capital.
  
  

About Platform Plus

Platform Plus is a web based digital platform providing a wide range of professional development content, enabling commercially curious researchers to grow their commercial acumen at their own pace. Platform Plus has current series of live webinars, recorded content, and an extensive back catalogue all in one spot, accessible at any time for convenience – ‘Netflix for Researchers’.

Platform Plus also enables commercialisation professionals to provide targeted support for an individual researcher’s commercialisation journey, through deep insights into researcher engagement with content. These insights can empower targeted resourcing and engagement decision-making, along with the identification of potential new innovations for research commercialisation pipeline.

In this role….

You will be responsible for managing and developing the Platform Plus Ecosystem products through their full life cycle, from initial concept to retirement. This role requires a combination of strategic thinking, market analysis and insight, and practical product management to ensure that Platform Plus continues to deliver innovative and high-value solutions to its users.

About You

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or equivalent experience in digital product development and delivery, or a related field.
• Substantial experience with frameworks, methodologies, and tools across application development and management, agile development and continuous delivery, product and service management.
• Proven experience managing stakeholders.
  
  

You will work as part of the team that supports the growth and adoption of our Platforms, Programs and Professional Services. You will also be a key member of the Campus Plus digital and technologies team with input to our approach to using, managing and delivering technology solutions internally and externally.
