Location: Sydney – Hybrid (Level 12, 117 York Street, Sydney NSW 2000)
Salary: Up to $140K Base + Bonus + Super
OTE: $200K + Super

Important Note: Job title may vary. Was going to be Commercial Director but the best suiting title is actually Sales Team Lead as you will be managing a team of 6 Account Executives and also leading out in front with a 70/30 split between management and sales.

About the Role
This is a unique opportunity to lead a high-performing sales team during a Commercial Director's maternity leave. You will step into a hands-on leadership role, responsible for driving revenue across digital advertising and commercial partnerships within the healthcare sector. Your focus will be on motivating a young and dynamic sales team, maintaining strong pipeline performance, and supporting long-term growth goals. As Commercial Director, you will report directly to Natalie (Commercial Director), until she commences leave. You'll also work closely with executive leadership to ensure performance continuity and future-proofing of the team.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coach a team of six energetic Account Executives focused on B2B healthcare media sales
- Foster a high-performance culture with strong team spirit, energy, and structured daily and weekly sales rituals
- Own pipeline accuracy and team forecasting via CRM tools and data insights
- Hit personal and team sales targets through active prospecting and client engagement
- Collaborate with internal Client Success and Marketing teams to ensure campaign delivery and renewals
- Champion sales processes, support with renewals, and uphold a cadence of strong sales meetings and performance reviews
Ideal Candidate Profile
You are a proven B2B sales leader with a passion for energising and coaching junior sales talent. You thrive in fast-paced environments and understand what it takes to lead by example. Your background includes:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in sales leadership or senior B2B sales roles
- Track record managing sales teams in media, digital, or adjacent industries
- Strong understanding of CRM systems (HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar) and pipeline discipline
- A coaching-first leadership style with the ability to inspire, guide, and challenge
- Strategic, commercially minded, and resilient under pressure
Performance & KPIs
You will be assessed on:
- Individual and team revenue performance ($8.8M team target; personal quota TBC based on inherited accounts)
- CRM hygiene and forecast accuracy
- Team development and cohesion
- Campaign delivery in partnership with the Client Success team
- Revenue growth goals (20% YoY growth achieved last year)
