Your New Role
As the Senior Manager, Technology Resilience, you will handle the strategic and operational management of our Technology Resilience, including IT Service Continuity. You will lead strategic discussions with Risk and Business Continuity, ensure alignment and develop road maps to meet current and future needs. Your role will involve collaborating with various stakeholders, including Technology Platform Leads, Product Owners, Risk Management, Crisis Management Team, Information Security, and external vendor partners.
In this role, you will:
- Own and mature the framework for IT Service Continuity across our various businesses
- Lead DR tests and runbook scenario tests across Technology
- Participate in Crisis Management events, reporting on outcomes and lessons
- Train employees and communicate to them on their responsibilities related to Technology Resilience and Recovery
- Foster a culture of risk and compliance awareness and accountability across the team
How do you exceed our expectations?
You are a proactive and innovative leader with a deep understanding of IT resilience frameworks and operations. You're adept at disaster recovery planning and execution, with a strong ability to interpret technical aspects and translate them into actionable strategies.
You're quick to respond to unexpected issues, demonstrate strong risk management experience, and have excellent communication skills. You are committed to fostering a culture of risk and compliance awareness and are dedicated to continuous improvement and best practices in technology resilience.
In addition, you have:
- Advanced to expert level knowledge and experience in IT resilience frameworks and operations
- Proficiency in disaster recovery planning and execution
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interpret technical aspects and customer needs
- The ability to coach Tech Leads and work together to uplift the IT resilience practice
- Experience in implementing solutions based on regulatory changes, such as APRA regulations CPS234 and 230
- Solid risk management experience or qualifications
