BCP Senior Business Analyst

Our client is currently overhauling their approach to Business Continuity Planning (BCP) and Disaster Recovery (DR) in the face of regulatory change. The client has BCP and DR subject matter expertise on-site but need a strong Senior Business Analyst with strong understanding of BCP and DR to help engage with diverse stakeholder groups to document business and technical requirements. To be considered for this fixed-term piece of work running until the end of the year, you will have the following skills and experience:

• A deep understanding of Business Continuity Planning
• Demonstrable experience working on BCP projects
• At least 3 years' experience working as a delivery-focused Business Analyst
  
  

Within your BCP/DR experience, you will have been involved with as much as possible, the following:

Risk Assessment & Impact Analysis
- Conducted Business Impact Analysis (BIA) to identify critical processes, dependencies, and recovery time objectives (RTO/RPO).

Disaster Recovery (DR) & Contingency Planning
- Worked with IT and operations teams to design DR strategies (e.g., failover systems, cloud backups).

Process Documentation & SOPs
- Created Business Continuity Plans (BCP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for crisis scenarios.

Crisis Management & Incident Response
- Participated in tabletop exercises or drills to test BC plans.

This is a fixed-term piece of work until the end of the year with a salary up to $180K including super. Shorter availability will be favoured.
