About the opportunity

  • Permanent part time 0.2 EFT for Grade 2 Occupational Therapist or;
  • Permanent part time 0.4 EFT for Grade 2 Social Worker. In addition to the NDIS Coordinator position, the Subacute Senior Social Worker delegates other work assignments.
  • Provide oversight, coordination and quality of care for NDIS and NDIS eligible clients using competent clinical skills, effective communication, and active participation within the Allied Health multidisciplinary teams

To thrive in this role, you will have:

  • An enthusiastic and motivated Social Worker with current AASW membership (or eligibility for membership) or Occupational Therapist with current AHPRA registration.
  • A sound understanding and working knowledge of the range of service systems, including NDIS.
  • Ability to offer clinical expertise in the area of disability and work with key stakeholders across the organisation including the NDIA Health Liaison Officer, senior medical, nursing and allied health teams.
  • Ability to apply clinical experience and strong consolidated psychosocial assessment and planning skills for management of a complex caseload.

You will also be required to provide evidence of, or in the process of obtaining:

  • A current Police Record Check and Working with Children Check.
  • Current COVID-19 certificate, proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders.
