Recruitment Consultant

Brightstar Resources (ASX: BTR) owns and operates the established Second Fortune Gold Mine and the newly launched Fish Gold Mine in the Laverton Goldfields region of Western Australia. Our operations are expanding, and we are placing more focus on bringing top talent into our company. We’re excited to welcome our first (part time) Recruitment Consultant to our Subiaco head office.

You’ll be managing the full lifecycle of the recruitment process, from advertising through to tracking a new starter’s onboarding, while:

• Recruiting a spectrum of roles - from operators, technical employees, and corporate team members.
• Screening, interviewing and managing job seeker communications.
• Actively networking and headhunting to fill niche roles.
• Building strong internal relationships with hiring managers.
• Releasing offers and onboarding employees through our HR software.

While the role will mainly be operational, there’s opportunities to build and deliver against a recruitment strategy (upskilling hiring managers, building an employer value proposition, creating recruitment agency preferred supplier panels).

You’ll be experienced in recruiting for the mining industry, be well networked and experienced at head hunting, be target / results driven, and have experience using eRecruitment and Onboarding systems (we use BigRedSky).

This is a part time opportunity, of approximately 25 hours / week (negotiable). We offer flexibility (one day / week at home), a competitive salary and bonus program, and the opportunity to visit our mine sites to expand your knowledge of operations.
