APS 4 – Senior Administration Officer, Digitisation Projects

We are seeking to fill the role of APS 4 – Senior Administration Officer, Digitisation Projects on an ongoing basis.
The Senior Administration Officer is a key position supporting the Library’s outsource digitisation program including providing administrative support for Library and Trove Partner digitisation through liaison with internal and external stakeholders, routine administrative tasks and quality assurance of digitised images in internal systems.
We are looking for a self-motivated team player with excellent communication skills who can prioritise their work with limited direction providing administration support to a large team.
Our ideal candidate will have experience using collection management or digital collection storage systems and image manipulation software, great attention to detail and an understanding of image capture standards and how they are applied in the context of a digitisation program.
To succeed in this role you will have:
- Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communications skills with a range of stakeholders
- Prior experience working with digital images, data filing systems and or databases
