Marketing Officer (Volunteer Role)

About the role
We are looking for a proactive and purpose-driven Marketing Officer to enhance the visibility and reach of Charity Journal’s stories and mission. This role suits someone who enjoys storytelling, has an interest in digital communications, and wants to contribute to social good in a low-commitment capacity.
Key responsibilities (1-3 hours per week)
Create at least 2-3 short and engaging social media updates per week for Facebook, LinkedIn and Instagram (posting to platforms not required) based on the most recently posted articles to Charity Journal
Include tags to relevant organisations and a short caption in each post
Reach out every featured organisation via social media or email to encourage them to share the article that they are featured in.
Manage and monitor Google Ad Grants (we are part of the not-for-profit grant program)
Collaborate with the team to ensure all messaging reflects Charity Journal’s values
