Position Profile: The Clinical Nurse Manager – Research is responsible for leading and developing a team of clinical research nurses at CAHS to support the conduct of clinical trials. The CNM Research plays a pivotal role in ensuring safe and quality care is provided to patients on clinical trials by mentoring and educating clinical trials nursing staff; identifying appropriate studies and activities; and managing the clinical trials facility (Clinic D). Working with the Director of Nursing Education and Research the CNM Research also supports nurses to participate in, conduct and lead nursing research. The position has direct responsibility for improving and maintaining standards, developing solutions and delivering outcomes consistent with service and organisational imperatives and targets. As a key leader, responsible for providing leadership and expertise at an advanced level, to promote and facilitate a research culture fostering capacity building and clinical research skills.
