Located in Clayton, Melbourne, the successful applicant will have a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience and a comprehensive understanding of the specific electrical needs and regulations in the pharmaceutical industry.

Much of this available role will be to manage and maintain our electrical systems within a pharmaceutical environment.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Join a results orientated team with a keen focus on customer satisfaction.

  • Ensure all electrical systems are operating efficiently and comply with industry standards and regulations.
  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment, including wiring, circuit breakers, lighting, and control systems.
  • Undertake reactive and preventative maintenance works on electrical and production equipment
  • Be open to be trained in other services testing and inspection, training will be provided.
  • Perform technical work on building services equipment in accordance with Equans safety, quality and customer standards ensuring that the company is meeting its objectives and budgets as required.
  • Respond to reactive and emergency works as required by the client
  • Establish and maintain relationships with our client ensuring concerns and complaints are proactively addressed.
  • Work closely with other colleagues and managers within our customers properties to foster a strong team environment.
  • Diagnose and resolve electrical issues promptly and efficiently.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals to plan and execute electrical projects.
  • Collaborate with other maintenance and engineering teams to support overall facility operations.
  • Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities.
  • Stay current with advancements in electrical technology and industry trends to ensure best practices are followed.
  • Flexibility to work alternating shifts, may include overtime and participate in on-call roster as needed.

What You Need

  • Proven experience in instrumentation and process control.
  • Experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and building automation systems is a plus.
  • Extensive knowledge of electrical systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair.
  • Strong understanding of Australians standard and codes.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Current Australian driver’s licence.
  • Ability to pass National Police Check.


Qualifications

  • Grade A Full Electrician License.
  • FPA accreditation (desirable).
