As our new Cadet Building Services Modeller, you’ll be a vital part of the Building Services team who are changing the way we design and deliver major works to be carbon neutral and sustainable. Your role will include:
- Assisting in the development of 3D building services models (HVAC, piping, and equipment) using Revit, AutoCAD and Navisworks
- Supporting the delivery of coordinated BIM models for large-scale defence infrastructure projects across Australia
- Learning and applying Australian defence standards and documentation requirements in a secure project environment
- Collaborating closely with engineers and other BIM team members to ensure design accuracy and consistency
- Participating in multi-disciplinary coordination and clash detection processes across mechanical, electrical, fire and hydraulic systems.
- Receiving ongoing training and mentorship to grow your technical skills and progress your career in the AEC industry
- A background or qualification in mechanical engineering, drafting, or a related technical field
- An interest in buildings and construction, with a willingness to learn BIM tools and processes
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving in a collaborative team environment
