Part-Time Emergency Department Reception (EDR) Clerk | 24 Hours per Week

Grampians Health is seeking a dedicated Part-Time Reception Clerk to support our fast-paced Emergency Department team. This 24-hour-per-week role places you at the front line of patient care—welcoming and assisting individuals and families during some of their most vulnerable moments.


As the first point of contact, your presence sets the tone. Your professionalism, empathy, and attention to detail will ensure patients receive not only accurate support but also genuine compassion during high-stress situations.


Key Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
• Registration and admission of Emergency Department patients
  • Accurate and timely data entry into clinical and administrative systems
  • Supporting clinical teams with efficient and reliable administrative assistance

What We’re Looking For:
• Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail in data entry and record management
  • Ability to stay composed and organised in a busy, high-pressure environment
  • High-level computer literacy and proficiency across various software systems
  • Minimum keyboard speed of 40 WPM
  • Previous experience in a hospital or similar healthcare setting (desirable but not essential)
