About the role

Reporting to the National Manager, Services, you will manage the operational delivery of utility purchasing and on-selling, while also supporting the identification and execution of new revenue opportunities across a diverse range of services to help grow non-traditional income streams for the business.

This is a part-time position (0.6 FTE, three days per week), based in Brisbane, Sydney, or Melbourne.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage budgeting, forecasting, and reporting for electricity purchasing and services income streams.
  • Liaise with energy consultants and consolidate data for internal reporting.
  • Respond to tenant electricity queries, conduct rate review impact analysis, and coordinate approvals.
  • Lead tender documentation and evaluation processes.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory guidelines.
  • Support feasibility analysis, business case development, and post-completion reviews.
  • Identify new business opportunities (e.g., sponsorships, brand activations, data commercialisation).
  • Partner with internal teams such as Legal, Tax, Finance, Risk & Compliance, and Centre Management.
  • Monitor stakeholder compliance and identify process improvement opportunities.

About you

This is a dynamic role for a commercially savvy individual with strong financial acumen, confident engaging with stakeholders, and always looking for opportunities to drive value beyond traditional revenue streams.

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a commercial or operational role, with strong financial or accounting exposure.
  • Proven financial analysis and reporting capability.
  • Experience with Anaplan is desirable.
  • Commercial contract negotiation experience highly regarded.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Confident presenter with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Highly organised, self-motivated, and able to manage tasks independently.
  • A sound understanding of financial management principles.
