The Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Payroll Officer to join our Melbourne office on a permanent part-time basis (15 hours per week). Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will display initiative, professionalism and high attention to detail.

Responsibilities will include the following:

  • Processing monthly pay run;
  • Data entry of time sheets as required;
  • Calculation of payroll tax;
  • Processing salary deductions as advised;
  • Calculation of leave entitlements including annual leave and long service leave;
  • Preparing payroll related reports for the leadership team and month-end;
  • Answering payroll related queries;
  • Back up for our fortnight pay run and superannuation processing (as required); and
  • Supporting the Finance Manager and HR teams as needed.

Who We Are Looking For

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years’ professional experience. You will ideally bring an understanding of confidentiality and can prioritise tasks. Experience with MicrOpay software will be highly regarded but not essential to be successful.

We are looking for someone with the ability to work on Mondays and additional hours when necessary.
