Sharp and Carter are looking to speak with Principal Business Analysts about a 6 month day rate contract based in Brisbane CBD as a part of complex SAP re-platforming program. This is an initial 6 month contract through till 21/12/25 with likelihood of extension. I am looking to speak with candidates with previous experience with SAP S/4HANA finance, business and logistics solution, SAP ECC6 HR Payroll solution or Infor WFM Rostering solution as a Business Analyst.

SAP Re-platforming Program Aims To Transition Key Enterprise SAP ERP Solutions From Ageing Infrastructure, Superseded Contracts, And Applications To a Future Where Technology Platforms Can Be Leveraged To Propel Operational Excellence And Aims To Deliver The Following Key Objectives

  • deliver a PoC for the HR/Payroll solution migration and upgrade that provides valuable lessons to inform planning and risk management
  • establish renewed vendor maintenance agreements and support model to ensure Corporate SAP solutions have sustainable and fit for purpose support
  • re-platform and upgrade the HR/Payroll solution and supporting technology to an S/4HANA Cloud service offering unlocking enhanced services and new features
  • re-platform and upgrade the S/4HANA Finance, Business and Logistic solution and supporting technology to a S/4HANA Cloud service offering unlocking enhanced services and new features
  • establish a modern and contemporary technology foundation to support future delivery of the Corporate Business Solutions Roadmap.

Role responsibilities:

  • Adhere to defined service quality standards, health and safety policies and procedures relating to the work being undertaken to ensure high quality, safe services and workplaces.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to capture business requirements to provide input into existing and new solution functionality to maximise the user experience, solution efficiencies and cost effectiveness of workforce management processes.
  • Develop high quality documentation for all stakeholder groups.
  • Lead the analysis of business, user and system requirements and provide advice on the application of the integrated workforce management solutions to optimise local and enterprise-wide business outputs.
  • Conduct and supervise the analysis of existing business processes, and future business processes, within the context of the corporate enterprise solutions.
  • Oversee the research and undertake process reengineering including identifying variations to policy and procedural matters affecting the efficient operation of the allocated area of responsibility.
  • Provide advice with the development and implementation of project and release management plans that link with Department and branch outcomes.
  • Provide specialist strategic and operational advice on business and solution processes, using experience and knowledge of the business to influence strategic directions.
  • Manage capability and resource development by leading and mentoring multidisciplinary team(s).
