The Role:
As the CFO, you will be a key member of the senior management team, reporting to the CEO and partnering closely with senior leaders to provide strategic financial guidance, data-driven insights, and commercial support. You will oversee Finance, IT, and Payroll functions, ensuring robust financial controls, compliance, and integration across systems and processes
What You’ll Do:
- Developing and executing financial plans, forecasting, analysis, and reporting to drive profitability and informed decision-making
- Leading Payroll operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and seamless integration with HR and Finance systems.
- Providing financial modelling, pricing strategies, and commercial support for tenders, contract negotiations, and business development initiatives.
- Formulating and implementing an IT strategy that enables improved performance, productivity, and scalability through innovative digital solutions.
- Building and mentoring high-performing teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and leadership development.
- Engaging with stakeholders, presenting financial reports, and representing the company with external partners and auditors.
To thrive in this position, you'll need
- Chartered Accountant (CA) or CPA qualification
- Minimum 8 years’ experience in senior finance leadership roles
- Background in retail, travel, or consumer goods sectors preferred
- Strong commercial acumen and strategic financial planning skills
- Expertise in financial modelling, analysis, and compliance
- Deep understanding of people-focused operations, including Payroll
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Strategic thinker with a collaborative, solutions-oriented mindset
