About the Opportunity:

This is a varied role that will see you responsible for the operations of the Lucas warehouse North Melbourne, including the effective stock and cost management, procurement of goods, storage and distribution. This is a hands-on role that includes manual handling and administrative duties.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate stock control, inventory records, and ensure timely deliveries to outlets
• Oversee goods receiving, storage, and stock levels in line with company and food safety standards
• Minimise wastage, breakage, and stock discrepancies
• Conduct regular stocktakes and manage non-consumable inventory effectively
• Ensure all OH&S and HACCP guidelines are followed to maintain a safe work environment
• Liaise with suppliers and internal teams to support efficient store operations
• Support POS accuracy by coordinating with F&B Analysts on new menu items and stock updates
  
  

The Ideal Candidate Must Have:

• Demonstrated experience within similar role
• Ability to resolve work related problems
• Knowledge and understanding of Hospitality industry (preferred)
• Demonstrated experience maintaining proper records of the materials inventory.
• Ability to recommend measures to continually improve inventory control and efficiency.
• Experience adhering to OH&S requirements
• Ability to use computer systems relating to stock management
• Demonstrated experience in successfully managing stock levels and flow to minimise stock outages, overages and duplication
• Strong work ethic and a "can do" attitude
• Ability to work autonomously as well as within a team
• Excellent communication and time management skills
• Ability to deliver of the products to the outlets as per the commitments.
• Must have Forklift License
