About The Role
Sun Engineering is seeking a skilled and experienced Boilermaker / Welding Inspector to join our team in Carole Park, QLD. This dual role involves both fabrication and inspection in our workshop of government and mining infrastructure projects.

About The Role
Sun Engineering is seeking a skilled and experienced Boilermaker / Welding Inspector to join our team in Carole Park, QLD. This dual role involves both fabrication and inspection in our workshop of government and mining infrastructure projects.
Successful Applicants Must
- Be experienced in structural/plate fabrication and welding
- Able to interpret workshop drawings
- Able to inspect welds against specifications for conformities.
- Can set welding machines and weld using Solid and Flux Core welding wire
- Have Cert III Boilermaker Qualification
- At least one of the following certifications
- CSWIP 3.1 Welding Inspector
- IWI-B Welding Inspector
- AS1796 Cert 10 Welding Supervisor
- AS2214 Welding Supervisor
- MS Word and Excel experience an advantage
- Be able to attend a short interview
- Be able to provide references
- Immediate Start - Casual short term potentially leading to long term
- Work in a workshop where safety is our priority

- 38 hours per week
