The Role
Our client is seeking a dynamic Financial/Demand Planning Analyst to play a pivotal role in helping the Aftermarket Group achieve its goals.
You will join a supportive & collaborative team and your expertise in financial analysis will support key decision-making and enhance our client's operational performance in a fast-paced, dynamic industry.
Your Key Responsibilities Will Include
- Demand Planning: Direct and undertake demand planning activities, including setting reserve stock levels to maintain operational efficiency.
- Inventory Forecasting: Provide inventory forecasts for the next 3-6 months to support the Supply Chain team's order and procurement activities.
- Analyse Inventory Movements: Analyse and report inventory movements, focusing on sales and purchase trends.
- Maintain Item Master Data: Ensure current item master numbers are maintained and set up new records as required.
- Gross Margin Analysis: Deliver value-added insights to the business by analysing gross margins to support decision-making.
- Sales Planning Contribution: Assist in the preparation of the Annual and Revised Sales Plans by analysing sales, cost of sales trends, inventory turns, and standard costs.
- Cost Management: Analyse product costs & update and roll over standard costs for all parts in the new fiscal year.
- Financial Analysis: Support FP&A duties including budgeting, forecasting, insights and analysis.

You Will Have
- Qualifications: Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Commerce/Business or Accounting
- Experience: At least 3 years of experience in financial analysis, demand planning, inventory management or sales analysis.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel/Tableau/Power BI
- Industry Knowledge: Exposure to the Automotive, FMCG, or Manufacturing industries is highly regarded.
- Competencies:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence internal customers.
- Exceptional ability to analyse and interpret financial or numerical data.
- Proficiency in problem-solving and resolving demand planning challenges.
