About The Role

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Chief Technologist to lead our technical team at Gawler Hospital. This is a full-time leadership role, responsible for delivering high quality diagnostic imaging services while ensuring smooth and efficient clinic operations.

Our Gawler clinic is a comprehensive imaging service co-located with Gawler Hospital, supporting both inpatient and outpatient needs across the community. The site is equipped with a broad range of modalities, including General X-ray, Fluoroscopy, CT, MRI, Bone Mineral Densitometry (BMD) and Mammography, providing a varied and engaging clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day leadership and support to technical staff.
  • Ensure delivery of high quality imaging services aligned with clinical and professional standards.
  • Champion a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement and patient-centred care.
  • Coordinate with clinical and administrative teams to optimise workflow and resourcing.

Requirements

  • A recognised qualification in Medical Radiography.
  • Current AHPRA registration as a Radiographer.
  • Current EPA SA Radiation Licence or ASAR registration.
  • Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain).
  • Australian Police Clearance (or willingness to obtain).
  • Flexibility to participate in a rotating on-call and weekend roster (compensated accordingly).
