About The Role
Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic College (OLSH) is a three-campus school in Alice Springs, serving students from Transition to Year 12. We are currently seeking a Gardening & Maintenance Officer to work primarily at our Bath Street Campus (Transition – Year 4).
This hands-on role is essential in maintaining a safe, clean and welcoming environment for students and staff. Full PPE—including uniforms and boots—will be provided.

- Bath Street – Transition to Year 4
- Traeger Campus – Years 5 to 8
- Sadadeen Campus – Years 9 to 12
- General gardening, weeding, pick up rubbish in garden beds, prune trees
- Water pot plants in courtyards and foyers, check reticulation
- General maintenance duties, including minor painting
- Empty and Clean Bins/ replace bin liners
- Ensure verandahs, stairways and paths are clear or leaves and rubbish
- Liaise with external contractors and ensure safe work practices
- Clean drains and gutters
- Mowing
- Check and repair toilets and taps
- Mould removal and air conditioning filter cleaning
- Have a commitment to uphold the Catholic School Ethos
- Be self motivated, be able to work with minimum supervision and be a good role model to others such as students
- Hold a Current Drivers Licence and a LR or the ability to acquire LR
- Maintain a current Working with Children Card (Ochre Card)
