ROLE PURPOSE


The Pricing Analyst – Acquisition is part of our Acquisition and Retention team within the broader Pricing function. This role plays a critical part in driving strategic initiatives to secure new business with our corporate customers.


Success in this role requires strong commercial acumen and the ability to collaborate effectively with the Sales and Category teams to deliver competitive, margin-positive outcomes that align with Winc’s high win rate objectives.


KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES


  • Formulating commercial strategy and pricing proposals to achieve high customer Win/retention rates
  • Identifying profit improvement opportunities and providing insights through profit modelling and analysis to internal stakeholders and management
  • Analysing customer behaviours and trends, working with Pricing Managers to develop strategy and recommendations to improve business revenue and profitability
  • Review and prepare customer reviews and deals based on contractual obligations, communicate commercial insights tailoring to different internal and external stakeholders
  • Collaborate with Sales, Merchandising & Pricing teams to grow EBITA and drive favourable commercial outcomes
  • Ad-hoc analysis & reporting responsibilities as required


WHAT WE LOOK FOR


  • Prior commercial / business experience in a fast paced and dynamic business environment
  • Proven track record in providing detailed pricing, commercial analysis and margin/profitability analysis to key stakeholders
  • A logical approach to problem-solving combined with the ability to conceptualize and think creatively
  • Advanced MS Excel and PowerPoint skills are essential
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills and experience in presenting complex information to a variety of stakeholders
  • Experience working with large/complex datasets
  • Experience in using PowerPivot and Tabular data modelling skills (Desirable)
  • Ability to work autonomously and prioritise workload to meet deadlines
  • SQL, PowerBI & Tableau (Desirable)
  • Bachelor Degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting will be highly regarded
